Stix Restaurant and Bar | Logo Design

When the new owners of Stix Restaurant and Bar approached me with a vision for a modern, fresh brand while still honouring the essence of the existing identity, I knew I was up for an exciting challenge. The goal was to seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, creating a brand that resonated with both loyal patrons and newcomers alike.

To achieve this, we decided to give the South American parrot in the logo a local twist, replacing it with the rainbow lorikeet. This sleek and modern interpretation, rendered in a minimal outline effect, perfectly encapsulated the desired aesthetic – a nod to tradition with a contemporary edge.

Drawing inspiration from the leafy surrounds of Lower Plenty, we opted for natural, bold greens and browns to anchor the brand palette. These earthy tones not only complemented the lush foliage of the area but also evoked a sense of warmth and authenticity.

The result? A moody, inviting, and elegantly modern brand identity that captures the essence of Stix Restaurant and Bar. From the logo to the colour scheme, every element was carefully curated to reflect the restaurant's unique ambience and culinary offerings.

It's been a pleasure bringing this vision to life, and I'm excited to see Stix thrive with its fresh new look.
